Jennifer + Ryan Engagement Sesh in Historic Heritage Square

How lucky am I that I got to spend the 2nd anniversary of their 1st date with these two!! They seriously kept me laughing the entire session! Wait… isn’t that what I’m supposed to do? I asked them if they were always like this and their reply was that they were actually being tame!! So this is a couple I want to go out for drinks with, so much fun! (Notice them playing patty cake while I was setting up a shot!)

They are getting married at Firesky Resort and Spa in November, which is where I just recently got married!! I am over the top excited to photograph their wedding there and be on the other side of things;-)

Jennifer and Ryan were referred to me by the lovely Ashlee Miller of Ashlee Miller Artistry, who also did Jenn’s make-up for the session (and my wedding make-up). Check her out and check out these beautiful photographs of this couple that is so clearly in love!

Phoenix Lifestyle Maternity Mini-Session

I’m so lucky to get repeat clients and friends! This is the fourth session I have done for the Lucas Family in 2 years. We’ve captured 2 pregnancies, 1 year old photos, and a generational family photo! They wanted photos reminiscent of the previous maternity shoot I did with them with their first child. While we didn’t have a studio set up this time, we captured these photos with more of a “lifestyle essence.” Love that they have entrusted me with so many of their family memories! Makes this job worth doing!maternity photographer phoenixlifestyle maternity photographymaternity photographybaby bump phoenix

Honeymoon in the South Pacific

I’m married!! My husband (still an unusual word to say or write for that matter) and I have been together 7 years and finally tied the knot on March 8th at the Firesky Resort in Scottsdale. We had an amazingly perfect personalized Jewish wedding ceremony followed by dinner and dancing. It was so wonderful to spend time with all of our out of town family and see our two families merge into one.

We also had the opportunity of a lifetime to honeymoon in the South Pacific!! It was as wonderfully romantic as it sounds. We spent two nights in Tahiti at the Le Meridian really just adapting to the seafood for every meal, the time change, and the SLOW lifesytle.

Next we took a plane to Le Taha’a at the Le Taha’a Resort and Spa in at over the water bungalow. Unfortuantely it rained, and by rained I mean tropical stormed, the entire time we were on this island. We took advantage of the spa and had a couples massage. The sounds of actual waves crashing on the beach instead of music simulating that experience was magnificent. We also met some other honeymooners and hunkered down in the bar drinking in the rain. The food was by far some of the most spectacular food I’ve ever eaten. The seafood incredibly fresh and I’m still working off the chocolate couissants with nutella that I ate every morning.

Our final destination was Bora Bora at the Four Seasons. I think it goes with out saying that the Four Seasons is the Four Seasons for a reason. First they upgraded us to a beachside villa. By villa I mean a house bigger than ours. By beachside I mean our own private beach, private pool, private jacuzzi, with a view of Bora Bora’s famous mountain. Here we had perfect weather and snorkeled, kayaked, jet-skiied, toured the main island, and RELAXED in our private beach and pool. Every day they brought us tropical ammenities to enjoy in the afternoon. It was simply lovely and now I am completely and totally spoiled!

Please enjoy some simple shots of the islands that I included in this post. If you ever have the opportunity to travel here I highly recommend it, the people couldn’t be more genuinely friendly, and the scenery brings you closer to god/universe/spectacularness. #1 on Bucket List… CHECK!

Valentine’s Boudoir

Some “safe images” from this sexy yet classy boudoir that was photographed as a valentine’s present! An amazing idea! Her man went wild! Not only do I love capturing images that evoke so much emotion (between this couple,) but this young lady had never had her make-up done professionally. Seeing her come alive for the camera because she felt so good about herself was incredible. Ladies I highly recommend a boudoir session as a reward if you’ve worked towards a goal, are getting married, or just want to spice things up! Thanks to Ashlee Miller of Ashlee Miller Artistry for the amazing make-up and Amber Sullivan of All Done Up for the beautiful hair! Thank you to Valley Ho for the accommodations
