Happy New Year From Lisa d. Photography | Phoenix Photographer

Dear Clients, Friends, Clients who have become friends, and Friends who have become clients,

2014 has been amazing year for me both personally and professionally!

Personally, I got married to a man who whole-heartedly believes in me and supported my decision to move my part-time photography company to a full-time profession this past summer. I was able to travel to Bora Bora for the honeymoon of a lifetime and check off my number 1-bucket list travel destination. With our wedding this past March, I have been able to see all my near and dear this past year who live far away and sometimes I go years without seeing them, which was special beyond belief.

All this love and support has allowed me to have my most successful holiday photography season yet and it’s not over! I am so grateful to be able to tell your stories and capture your forever memories in photographs.  I’ve just moved my business to full time status this past summer and I have met some incredible people and families, I have collaborated with some talented professionals who continue to inspire me, and I have grown so much technically and professionally as I have had more time to devote to my business and craft.

I had my first two online publications from Senior Style Guide and Poptastic Bride. Which was very exciting!

2015 will begin with a Valentine’s Day boudoir marathon with many returning faces as well as many new faces that I am eager to meet. Only one spot is left! I have the privilege of pairing with my favorite beauty team for this exciting endeavor.

The spring already has weddings and senior sessions booked and I’m excited for what more is to come! Summer sessions in Detroit and L.A. are in the works. I’m also working on learning some new techniques to incorporate into my work.

My business is ever evolving with my skills, time, and demand and I appreciate all of you who have come along on the ride with me. I also appreciate many who have joined the ride at various times, a ton just this holiday season! I couldn’t be more grateful to be allowed to follow my passion as my career, to be inspired by the love your family’s share, and create daily. I truly have the best clients.

Surprisingly, many of you have also expressed concern or surprise that I have left the education field, as it was also a great source of inspiration for me. Not to worry, I have continued to do some consulting for various charter schools/boards on the side and I’ve been asked to sit on a school board for a valley school. So I’m keeping up in the field.

In summary, it is with a full and humbled heart that I thank you for an amazing beginning to a full-time venture and I am beyond excited to see what 2015 brings.

To my husband, thank you. I would have never had the courage to see if I could fly without your safety net. I love you.
