Wright House Wedding | Angila + Curtis
When I saw you I fell in love, and you smiled because you knew. – William Shakespeare
Like a love story or out of a movie, the first night Angila and Curtis met, they knew they would spend the rest of their life together. They gazed at each other as if they are the only ones in a crowded room and slipped each other romantic gifts on the wedding day.
Angila and Curtis married on Friday the 13th, but there was nothing superstitious about these two tying the knot. The venue was a gorgeous hidden garden in the valley called Wright House in Mesa, AZ; the vows were personal and authored by the bride and groom, and love was in the air! My favorite part of this wedding was that the bride DIYed (that’s now a verb right?!) pretty much every aspect of the wedding. Take a look at this bouquet! She made this bouquet herself and one for all the bridesmaids!
When the ceremony began Angila came down this beautiful staircase from the rooftop with her eyes on her groom.
There was so much emotion and so much love during this intmate ceremony.
The Wright House is a 1930’s farmhouse in Mesa, AZ that was turned into a wedding venue in the 90’s. It’s sprawling gardens on the Provencal side served as a gorgeous backdrop for bridal portraits for Angila and Curtis.
The day finished off with a backyard reception in Chandler, AZ. Complete with all the DIY touches, including the cake!
An enormous thank you to Angila and Curtis for including us in their special day! We wish you a lifetime of happiness.
